Getting started with Query interface in Benchtop

The Benchtop software allows users to validate and test accuracy of their pipeline results to save time and guide next step approaches. The user provides a baseline flat file (e.g. ground-truth, true biological sample) and a test flat file (e.g. output from a pipeline). The Report, Query, and Stat Table tabs in this tool provide users with guidance and options for further tests. This tool provides metrics ranging from general concordance to specifications of single-result source queries (comparing only baseline or test file), paired queries (comparing baseline vs. test file), filter clauses, and more! To get to these options, simply click the Query tab located at the top left corner of the page:

The query interface provides the user with many click-and-run language options for validation discovery. By clicking any one of the provided commands, the user can create an output of the data they are interested in.

Accessing the Query Bar

The Query Bar is easily accessible either from the top-bar selections (for freeform querying) or from the Edit Widget controls (for viewing or modifying queries linked to widgets).

Using the Query Bar
