This article describes how to access and modify the user settings for curation projects.

Accessing Project User Settings

Project user settings can be accessed from the Curation Project view by opening the Quick Actions menu and selecting Project User Settings. You will be redirected to the Project User Settings page for the current project.

Available Settings

Project users may modify two groups of settings: the Triage Template and Filter Overrides.

Triage Templates

Triage templates allow you to automatically categorize eligible results into buckets for review. These buckets are based on filtering rules and will be applied in addition to (and following) any user-defined buckets in a saved triage. For more information on Triage Templates, see this article. To add or modify a Triage Template, click the button in the Triage Template card.

Filter Overrides

Projects may define default filters that are automatically used to narrow down results when opening up a sample within a curation project. To apply your own filters by default, rather than using the project default filters, uncheck the Use Project Defaults option. You will then have the option to set custom filtering logic (filters are defined in the same manner as the curation project filters). Click the button to the right of each filter field to update the field. Just as in the curation project filters, the primary results filter may also be negated, using the toggle above the field.

Note: If Use Project Defaults is unchecked, and these filters are left blank, no filters will be applied to the project results (i.e., all results will be returned).
