This article describes the basic functionalities of a curation project in Miqa. For the Magna Curation Portal, visit Curation Projects | Magna Labs, Inc. Help Center (intercom.help).

Project View

Summary Section

At the top of the page, you'll find summary information about this project: which users are assigned to it, the number of samples, and the curation progress.

Progress - the progress bar and stats show how much of the curation project has been completed. A sample counts as "done" if both curators in a dual-review project have completed curation. Samples for which only one curator has completed curation will be counted as "in progress".

Randomly Assign Curations - click this button to automatically split the remaining curations between project users.

Paired Curations Section

The Paired Curations section lists the samples to be curated. The curation buttons in the right-hand column allow you to navigate to curations to be completed. Curations which are assigned to you will be highlighted, while those assigned to other collaborators will be dimmed and disabled.

Opening Curations - Click the button with your name in a curation row to open the curation view.

Self-assigning Curations - if curators have not yet been assigned to a particular curation, you have the option to assign it to yourself. These will show up as light grey buttons with a plus sign. Please note that the same curator cannot be assigned to both curations in a dual review project.

Basic Functionality

The curation project page allows you to make changes to or navigate to samples within your project.

  • Modify project result filters by changing the "Default results filter" field (A).

  • Modify tag settings by changing the allowed tags (B).

  • Click the status button for a sample to open it (C).

  • Click your avatar to go to your personal queue (D).

Personal Curation Queue

To view only the curations assigned to you, open your personal curation queue. Here, you can view your overall progress (A) and access each of the samples. To start or resume a sample's curation, click the button in the Status field (B).
