This article describes the steps to join a curation project in the Magna Curation Portal when invited by a collaborator.

Receive invitation email. Check your spam folder if you don't see an invitation. This email contains an access code that is specific to your email address, so you should always log in to the portal using the email address to which the invitation was received.

Click the Join Project button in the invitation email. This will take you to the Join Project page. If you are not already authenticated in the Curation Portal, you will first be redirected to a login screen. Sign in using the email address that the invitation was sent to.

The access code should be pre-populated in the Join Project page, but you can always refer back to your invitation email to retrieve it. Click Submit to confirm the access code.

Success! You should now be able to access the curation project. There is no need to re-join a project after you have already authenticated and joined.
