This article describes the views and functionality related to curation in the Miqa Curation Portal & Collaborator Curation Projects. For standalone Magna Curation Portal, visit this article. For more detailed coverage of specific functionalities, visit this article.

Curation View

The curation view provides tools for you to inspect each result, mark it as a true or false positive, and tag it with any additional helpful information.

To curate, you simply inspect individual results and move those of interest into a "cart" of triaged items, adding tags or marking as TP/FP. These outcomes do not become finalized until you Submit the curation. You can always re-do a curation if you are unhappy with your selections.

For Miqa Curation & Collaborator Curation Projects:

Curation projects may optionally have direct Submission disabled. To save your work, click Save New the first time you are curating, and Update Saved on subsequent revisions. You can always return to or view previous versions of your triage. Final Submission will be moderated by the project lead.

πŸ‘‰ Remember: If you leave the curation page before submitting, the triaging work you have done will be lost. If you do accidentally navigate away, a message will appear warning you that your progress will be lost so that you can save before leaving.

Triaging Results

You can perform the following on individual result rows:

  1. View the corresponding curation display for the row by clicking on it.

  2. Curate by changing the Status using the icon buttons and adding and removing Tags.

  3. Move a row into or out of Triage by double clicking the row.

  4. Share or get further details by right-clicking.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts are provided for navigating the results table and core curation functionalities:

Batch Methods

You can also batch-curate or batch-tag results by using the multi-select checkboxes on the left. When you have selected >=1 items from the All Results or Triaged Results section, a menu will appear at the top of the corresponding section giving you options for batch-editing.

To select or deselect all items in the table, use the checkbox at the top of the left column. Batch selection will take into account any active filters applied.
